PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laver-treating method carrying out extermination of miscellaneous algae such as diatoms and green laver growing on cultured laver or growing together with the laver and effectively and efficiently controlling or preventing various disease injuries such as needle bacterial disease caused by pathogenic microorganisms and minimizing load on marine environment. SOLUTION: The laver-treating method for extermination of miscellaneous algae of laver and control of harmful microorganisms of laver comprises using an electrolytic liquid obtained by applying direct current to marine water solution of a diluted acid by electrodes of an anode and a cathode. The present invention provides the laver-treating method carrying out extermination of miscellaneous algae such as diatoms and green laver growing on cultured laver or growing together with the laver and effectively and efficiently controlling or preventing various disease injuries such as needle bacterial disease caused by pathogenic microorganisms and minimizing load on marine environment.
