<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture lithium ion conductive sulfide glass and glass ceramics with high conductivity at room temperature from an easily-available low-cost raw material in a simple method. <P>SOLUTION: In manufacturing lithium ion conductive sulfide glass, a raw material containing at least a kind selected from lithium sulfide, phosphorus pentasulfide, elemental phosphorus, and elemental sulfur is used as a starting material, to which 6.5 parts by mass or more of lithium sulfate and/or 2.2 parts by mass or more of lithium thiosulfate are added as a glass modifying agent, and the raw material is vitrified by a mechanical milling. The lithium ion conductive sulfide glass is baked at a temperature higher than the glass transition temperature in the manufacturing method of the lithium ion conductive sulfide glass ceramics. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
