PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive transmitting shaft which is greatly reduced in weight and increased in strength compared with a predecessor using a metal yoke, and the simple manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The drive transmitting shaft 1 is comprised of a shaft base 2, an approximately conical end 3 protruding from the end of the shaft base 2 in the axial direction outward, a pair of arms 4 formed approximately in parallel with the axial direction from both sides of the approximately conical end 3, and a hole 5 bored in the arms.
