PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator inspection device capable of reliable elevator inspection under an elevator automatic inspection operation without hampering convenience of general users. SOLUTION: The device includes a monitor section 9 connected to an elevator control panel 3, a maintenance section 10 connected to at least one of the elevator control panel 3 and the monitor section 9, and an operation control means starting the inspection operation of the elevator 1 in accordance with an inspection operation command output from an operation panel 4 in an elevator car or the maintenance section 10. If an elevator car calling command is output from landing buttons 7a, 7b during the inspection operation, the device interrupts the inspection operation of the elevator 1 and returns to the normal operation, and automatically restarts the inspection operation of the elevator 1 after completion of the normal operation.
