PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high energy saving effect without applying an inconvenience or a dissatisfaction to a user. SOLUTION: By this electric hot water storage container, a content liquid is fed to an actual use P by a discharging operation by continuing the using state while performing an energy saving warming at a normal warming temperature or at a temperature T<SB>1</SB>being lower than the normal warming temperature. When the actual use P occurs during the continuation of the energy saving warming, the electric hot water storage container is made to perform the warming at a temperature T<SB>2</SB>higher than the energy saving warming temperature T<SB>1</SB>.
