PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a screen from being caught in the case of rewinding the screen in a hanging type screen device. SOLUTION: The clutch mechanism of the screen is constituted of: a driven part which consists of a drum having a guide groove in a circumferential direction and fit and inserted to a fixed shaft; and a driving part which consists of a frame body having a sliding ball engaged with the guide groove and turns integrally with the sliding ball and a spring roll. The guide groove is constituted of: one circulating groove which is continuous in the circumferential direction; and one or more locking grooves in which a sub path communicating with the circulating groove is formed and which lock the sliding ball. Furthermore, the locking groove is provided with: a 1st locking part for holding the screen at a take-up position; a 2nd locking part for holding the screen in an extended and tensioned state; and a 3rd locking part for preventing the sliding ball from returning to the circulating groove.
