PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container collecting device capable of collecting a large quantity of containers even for the container with large resilience by increasing a volume reduction rate. SOLUTION: In the container collecting device for collecting the container in a volume-reduced state by allowing the container thrown in between a rotating first volume reducing roller and a rotating second volume reducing roller to pass through, the rows of first volume reducing teeth are provided on a peripheral surface of the first volume reducing roller side by side along an axial direction, and the rows of second volume reducing teeth are provided on the peripheral surface of the second volume reducing roller side by side along the axial direction. The first volume reducing roller and the second volume reducing roller are arranged so that the rows of the first volume reducing teeth and the rows of the second volume reducing teeth are alternately positioned, and each phase of the first volume reducing teeth and the second volume reducing teeth in a rotating direction differs with each other.
