IMAGE DIVIDING METHOD AND ENCODING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the image dividing method which divides a part other than a known background part from an input signal through an easy process when the background of the input signal is already known. SOLUTION: A background image is sent from an image input source 11 first to a frame memory 12 and stored there. Then an input image obtained by photographing the known background and an unknown body at the same time is inputted from an input source 11 and sent to a frame memory 13. Then A differentiator 14 calculates difference values between respective pixels of the images stored in the respective frame memories and the difference values are sent to a comparator 15, wherein the images are compared. A switch 16 sends out the input image as the output of the frame memory 13 unless the input image matches the background image or 0 shown by 17 when the input image matches the background image to an image encoding device.
