PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood through which cooked objects and installed materials on a cooker side are sufficiently viewable. SOLUTION: The range hood comprises a hood part 8 arranged above a cooker 2 in an downward opened manner and a cylindrical part 9 provided at the upper part of the hood part 8 in communication with an opening 7 of the hood part 8 to form an air passage for an exhaust flow inside. The exhaust flow is exhausted from the inside of the cylindrical part 9 via a duct 12 to the outside. A rectangular illumination part 15 is arranged on a plate 13 provided in the opening 7 of the hood part 8 in opposition to the cooker 2 for illumination on the side of the cooker 2.
