PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide valve components of a gate valve for tap water, effectively applied to a valve rod and a female screw piece, particularly requiring not only threaded engagement-sliding but also strength, by minimizing elution quantity of lead, while maintaining cutting performance, strength, and corrosion resistance equal to or higher than conventional performance. SOLUTION: The valve components for the gate valve for tap water are provided by performing fabrication, by using a Cu-Zn-Bi-Sn type brass material including no lead as a chemical component.
