The invention relates to a device (1), for medical use, of the pre-filled, ready-to-use syringe type, with a tubular body (2), comprising a needle luer connector (5) at the distal end thereof (4) and a piston (3) at the proximal end (12) thereof which runs inside said tubular body (2). The piston (3) is arranged in an initial position, with relation to the tubular body (2), defining an internal effective volume (8), at least partly filled by a medical liquid (9), said piston (3) being connected to an operating rod (11) for said piston, characterised in that the tubular body (2) is provided on the internal face (13) thereof with a means (14) for detection of displacement of the piston (3). Said means (14) is situated between the initial position of the piston and the proximal end (12) of the tubular body (2). The invention further relates to a method for production of such a device.
