PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile image and sound compression system capable of constructing a system for easily compressing moving image and sound even without requiring any knowledge about the compression of the moving image and the sound. SOLUTION: A compression processing issuing means 210 issues a processing instruction in a prescribed procedure to a compression processing control means 202. First, the means 210 issues a compression parameter set instruction, sets parameters that are needed for compression processing en bloc, continuously issues an image compression instruction, a sound compression instruction and a system processing instruction until the compression processing of entire moving image and sound data finishes, while the means 202 controls an image compressing means 230, a sound compressing means 231 and a system processing means 232 and performs compression processing. |
