PURPOSE: A control device of a hydraulic valve for load holding provided to replace a drain line of a holding band with a passage formed in a direction switching valve and to save cost due to no need for hydraulic hose exposed to the outside. CONSTITUTION: A control device of a hydraulic valve for load holding comprises a hydraulic pump(19); a hydraulic actuator connected to the hydraulic pump; a direction switching valve which is installed between the hydraulic pump and the actuator and switched in receiving a pilot signal pressure from a remote control valve and which controls a starting, stopping, and a direction switching of the actuator; a poppet(44) which is installed between the direction switching valve and the actuator and which temporarily restricts the load drop of the actuator; a spool(50) which is connected to the lower part of the poppet and switched in receiving the pilot signal pressure and which releases the held load of the actuator; and a drain line joining an actuating oil, returned in switching of an auxiliary spool(39), to a pilot line of the drain line corresponding to the opposite side of the pilot line compressing the spool of the direction switching valve.
