The coupling device couples a driving rotatable switch element of a first rotary switch module with a driven rotatable switch element of a second rotary switch module, for simultaneous operation of the switch elements, via a conversion element (11) and 3 relatively fixed coupling elements. The first coupling element (12) is pivoted to the driving rotatable switch element, the second coupling element (13) coupled to the driven rotatable switch element and the third coupling element acting as a transmission element displaced along a guide path (17).
