Method and system for transmission of aircraft information

The method involves determining an image representing information to be transmitted from an avionic device (2) e.g. flight control computer, using an avionic type unit (11). The image is transmitted to an interface unit (3) e.g. portable computer. Another image corresponding to the representation is displayed on a visual display unit (13), by the interface unit. An independent claim is also included for an information transmitting system embedded in an aircraft.
