The bearing mounting is in the aperture (14) of the housing (5) of a drive device (1) for a separator with a centrifugal drum on a vertical axis for the drive spindle (2), which is mounted in an upper neck bearing (3) and a lower foot bearing (4). The neck bearing is in the form of an angled ball bearing and supports the drum downwards on a spherical support surface of the housing.
