摘要 PURPOSE: A left and right separable steer-by-wire system is provided to obtain the large space of the engine room by operating tie rods connected to wheels respectively, and to control steering accurately by controlling rpm with an ultrasonic motor without a decelerator. CONSTITUTION: A left and right separable steer-by-wire system is composed of a steering control signal generating unit(10) outputting the control signal according to the steering angle in operating the steering wheel for changing the direction by a driver, a controller(20) receiving the signals from the steering control signal generating unit and calculating and outputting signals to control the direction of a wheel(W) corresponding to operation of the driver, and left and right steering force generating units(30,30') receiving the signals from the controller and moving tie rods(T) connected to knuckles(N) to the left and the right according to the signals from the controller.
