PURPOSE: A monitoring and controlling system of a cremation furnace is provided to operate smoothly by checking the combusted status of each cremation furnace, the status of an article forwarding chamber and a movement of a monitored object and immediately managing troubles in each cremation furnace, the article forwarding chamber and a central supervisory system. CONSTITUTION: A central supervisory system(10) controls each cremation furnace(30,31,32), an article forwarding chamber(33) and a supervisory control computer(20) and controls to output the operations and the abnormalities of each cremation furnace and the article forwarding chamber on a screen of the supervisory control computer. The supervisory control computer checks the smooth operation and the abnormalities of each cremation furnace and the article forwarding chamber and manages when the abnormalities are generated. Thereby, the smooth cremation is performed without a stoppage.
