METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY SETTING WORLD TIME OF A MOBILE PHONE, PARTICULARLY BY COMPARING A STRING AND A COUNTRY CODE BASED ON THE COUNTRY CODE AND CALL BROADCASTING INFORMATION TRANSMITTED FROM A NETWORK

摘要

PURPOSE: A method for automatically setting a world time of a mobile phone is provided to remove user's inconvenience that a user must manually change time to a local time whenever he/she moves to other country, and provide accurate time information to the user. CONSTITUTION: A CC(Country Code) of an LAI(Location Area Identity) is stored before a terminal is moved to other country. When the terminal is moved to a different network or other country, a current CC is obtained based on corresponding CC or CB(Call Broadcasting) information and then stored. The stored CC and a name of the country are compared with previously stored ones. A current time is changed to a local time by comparing a time table.
