PURPOSE: A method and a device for abstracting a component position of a GUI(Graphic User Interface) are provided to abstract generation of a layout for multiple components of the GUI. CONSTITUTION: The device includes a preprocessor(105), a native language interpreter(110), a GUI generator(115), a program(120), a memory(130), a processor(135), and an output device(140). The preprocessor executes the program by using the native language interpreter. The native language interpreter executes the preprocessor and the GUI generator. The GUI generator generates the GUI(125) displayed on the output device.
