PURPOSE: A device for controlling automatically a sun roof mounting position of a vehicle body is provided to facilitate a handling and mounting position control process regardless of an arrival position of a vehicle body by regulating primarily the sun roof mounting position of a floating plate and secondarily adjusting the mounting position by lifting a secondary lift structure. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling automatically a sun roof mounting position of a vehicle body is composed of a base(1) mounted on a traveling rail to move forward and backward and lift up and down; a floating plate(3) for interposing a plurality of ball bearings(9) and a free cylinder between the base and the floating plate to move vertically and horizontally on the base; a secondary lift structure(5) installed to lift upward secondarily by arranging a secondary lift guide and a second lift cylinder on the floating cylinder and formed with a sun roof attachment and a primary lift shaft(25); and a centering cylinder disposed between the secondary lift structure and the floating plate and expanded and contracted to match the centering attachment on the floating plate to the sun roof mounting position of the vehicle body.
