PURPOSE: Provided is a disinfectant for cooking utensils which is harmless to the human body and environment by using iodine as a natural extract of seaweeds. The disinfectant is applied to the pathogenic microorganism causing food poisoning. CONSTITUTION: The disinfectant for cooking utensils is characterized by containing 4-10 wt.% of iodine as a natural extract of seaweeds, 5-7 wt.% of phosphate, 5-20 wt.% of surfactant and 60-80 wt.% of purified water.
