METHOD FOR INCREASING TRANSMISSIVITY OF MATERIALS IN RAPID PROTOTYPING

PURPOSE: A method for increasing transmissivity of materials in rapid prototyping is provided to perform the after-treatment on a product made with rapid prototyping to increase the transmissivity of the product. CONSTITUTION: An opaque ABSi starting product(11) is manufactured using fused deposition modeling in a rapid prototyping process. Resin(12) pours into a container(13) as much as the opaque ABSi starting product dips into the resin. After dipping the opaque ABSi starting product into the resin, heat is applied and a vacuum pump(15) operates to penetrate the resin into small gaps in the starting product in the container for discharging air(16) outwardly. After the penetration of the resin, the starting product moves to an oven to dry the surface of the starting product. After drying the starting product, completely, the grinding is applied onto the surface of the starting product.
