The engine has a cylinder head block (12) movable between active and dismantled positions. The block has an inlet and an outlet that are controlled by cams (30, 36) carried by cam shafts (32, 38). An engine unit (10) with a crank shaft (16) controls a piston (22) movement. A transmission unit (50) is movable between the shaft (16) and one of the shafts (32, 38). A retaining unit is movable between the positions of the block.
