PURPOSE: A displacement measuring method for a structure with image processing is provided to measure displacement of the structure by using a portable camera and a computer for safety evaluation. CONSTITUTION: Image data is acquired by photographing a datum mark in a mark of a structure with a camera(S100). Image data is transmitted to a computer(S110). Coordinates of the datum mark from image data is calculated by using image processing(S120). A real distance for an image fundamental unit is calculated from a processed image(S130). Displacement for the datum mark is measured as the image fundamental unit in successive processing images when the datum mark is moved due to vibration of the structure(S140). The real distance for measured displacement is calculated by relation of the real distance and the image fundamental unit(S150). A mobile path according to the real moving distance of the datum mark is illustrated and outputted(S160). Therefore, displacement of a large structure is measured effectively to measure vibration with portable equipment.
