PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet for protecting a windowpane which can strongly tie a broken windowpane with a main resin sheet or the like even when the windowpane is broken while a reinforcing effect for the windowpane is held with the sheet for protecting the windowpane, and in which the main resin sheet or the like is not easily cut off by a cutter knife or the like. SOLUTION: The sheet 10 for protecting the windowpane is stuck on a part or the whole face of an existing windowpane. The main resin sheet 12 for the sheet 10 for protecting the windowpane is formed of a polycarbonate sheet or a polyester sheet with a thickness of 0.4-3.0 mm. In addition, the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 11 which is formed into the same shape and the same size as those for the main resin sheet 12 and has a thickness of 80-1,000μm, is provided on the back surface 12b of the main resin sheet 12 so as to stick the main resin sheet 12 on the windowpane. Furthermore, a release sheet 13 formed into the same shape and the same size as those of the main resin sheet 12 is releasably stuck on the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 11.
