PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter solving a problem that in a conventional rice transplanter, rise and fall control is carried out by grasping the conditions of a field, inconvenience often occurs even if rise and fall control is merely carried out according to the conditions of a field, for example, even in the case of a field having relatively a few number of unevennesses and low degree of the unevennesses, in a sudden case in which unevennesses are larger than those of other parts but their areas are narrow, the control part of the rice transplanter excessively reacts to the unevennesses and rise and fall control is excessively carried out. SOLUTION: In the rice transplanter having constitution that a planting part 4 is attached through a rise and fall link mechanism to a traveling part, the planting part 4 is equipped with a means for detecting the rising and falling of a float and the rise and fall control of the planting part is carried out according to rising and falling of the float, the rice transplanter is equipped with a means 62 for changing setting of field conditions and the rise and fall control is carried out by a control target value decided according to the set field conditions.
