RIDGE TILE AND A RIDGE VENT SYSTEM

The invention relates to a novel design of a ridge tile for a vent ridge comprising a first tile section which is open and concave on the underside thereof, and a second tile section which connects to an end of the first tile section or to a first wall situated there. The height of the second tile section which is provided as a vent section is smaller than that of the first tile section. The second tile section is overlapped by the first tile section of a connecting ridge tile when ridge tiles are arranged to form the vent ridge. At least one first connecting element which extends in the longitudinal direction of the ridge tile is located on the upper side of the second tile section which faces away from the underside of the ridge tile. Said connecting element forms a system for a second wall section (5) which is provided on the other end of the connecting ridge tile.
