The capacity of an information record medium does not decrease even when a technique to exactly confirm an address with recursive decoding. An information recording method comprises address search step of designating an address indicating the position information is recorded on an information record medium to search for an address area where this address is recorded on the information record medium, and a data recording step of recording the information to be recorded in a data area present behind the address area next to the record area detected at the address searching step.
