PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video conference system for automatically interconnecting video conference terminals between users so as to allow the users to easily participate in a video conference.

SOLUTION: A wireless receiver 31 for detecting a radio wave transmitted from a wireless transmitter 30 possessed by a user resident in each of conference rooms 2 is installed in each conference room 2 so as to correspond to video conference terminals 20 respectively installed in a plurality of the different conference rooms 2. A video conference management apparatus 1 converts detection information of the radio wave transmitted from the wireless transmitter 30 possessed by the user in the conference room 2 into a terminal connection number of the video conference terminal 20 installed in the conference room 2 in which the user is resident to connect between the video conference terminals 20 used by the users desiring mutual connection.
