<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid fuel type fuel cell capable of increasing an output density by enlarging the air supplying area to an MEA. <P>SOLUTION: In addition to a cross-shaped first and second supplying grooves 14, 15, a third supplying grooves 16 are formed on a positive electrode face of a separator of a direct methanol type fuel cell.
