PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit protection element which is superior in blown-out performance, little in performance deterioration or the like due to environmental changes, and superior in durability and weatherability. SOLUTION: This circuit protection element has a substrate 2, a conductive fuse element 4 installed at the substrate 2, and terminal electrodes 3 installed at both ends of the substrate 2 and electrically connected via the conductive fuse element 4, and constituted so that an auxiliary fuse element composed of a mixture 5 composed of metal and non-metal or an auxiliary fuse element composed of a metal organic compound are joined to at least one part of the conductive fuse element 4.
