PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a delustering metallic coating material capable of giving a delustered film by applying itself to a material only once, excellent in opacifying properties of the material, capable of retaining designability, without causing abrasion of a pigment, nor elimination thereof, and having high weather resistance, and excellent in resistance to chemicals, gasoline, and chipping. SOLUTION: This one-coat delustering metallic coating material contains a hydroxy-containing resin having a hydroxy value of 5-200 mgKOH/g and an acid value of 0-100 mgKOH/g, a curing agent, a resin-coated colored aluminum pigment (A) having an average particle diameter of < 20μm in an amount of 3-30 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of total solid matter of the hydroxy-containing resin and the curing agent, and an ultraviolet light absorbing agent (B) in an amount of 0.1-10 pts.wt.
