PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which can continues to provide high-quality images without image defects and stably in an image forming method which returns residual toner recovered from the surface of an electrostatic latent image carrier in a cleaning process after a transferring process to a developing part or a toner supplying part through a toner recovering device, and which reuses the recovered toner as recycle toner and also to provide the image forming method which can stabilizes a cleaning characteristic in the cleaning process and can maintains characteristics as the electrostatic latent image carrier for a long term. SOLUTION: This method is the image forming method which includes an electrifying process, an electrostatic latent image forming process, a developing process, a transferring process, a fixing process and a cleaning process and the method is characterized in that the residual toner which is recovered in the cleaning process is reused as the recycled toner and the percentage of the recycle toner in the whole quantity of supply toner to be supplied in developer is≥15 mass %.
