AQUEOUS CARBON BLACK DISPERSION AND PREPARATION OF THE SAME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation process of carbon black in a stable dispersed state in an aqueous medium, and also to prepare a stable carbon black dispersion prepared by the same and a recording solution using the same.

SOLUTION: The preparation process of carbon black comprises treating carbon black with water in a state at a high temperature not lower than 250°C and under high pressure of 5MPa or above, or in a supercritical state in the presence of a reducing agent. The aqueous dispersion containing the carbon black is prepared by the above method. The recording solution uses the solution prepared.
