PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a revetment/fish-reef block which allows small animals and plants to inhabit therein in a short period of time after settling the same in a subaqueous place, is not bulky, light in weight, and low in cost compared with a spherical revetment/fish-reef, and high in stability during transportation or under service conditions, and to provide a method of producing the revetment/fish-reef block. SOLUTION: The revetment/fish-reef block is produced by laying a number of natural stones 12 on a semi-spherical wall surface or an end wall surface of a semi-spherical concrete block 11 such that the tip of each slope is protruded, and therefore small animals and plants can inhabit between the natural stones 12 of the block in a short period of time. Further the concrete block 11 is formed like a semi-sphere, it is not bulky, light in weight, and low in cost compared with the spherical revetment/fishing bank block. Furthermore when the revetment/fish-reef block 10 is placed with an end wall surface of the block face disposed to the bottom side on a load platform during transportation or settled under the sea, the stability of the revetment/fish-reef block 10 is increased.
