The present invention discloses a method of broadband access with great capacity, which comprises, broadband subscriber sends a access request to access element; access element sends the authentication information of subscriber to a control element through route switch element; the control element authenticates the subscriber by the AAA server built-in or outside, returns the authentication result to the access element through the route switch element, and sends the subscriber's configure information passing the authentication; the route switch element and the access element complete the configuration of the subscriber information, assign corresponding resource to the subscriber, establish the data channel accessing the network.
