METHOD FOR REMOVING VIRUS BY FILTRATION UNDER VIRUS AGGREGATING CONDITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing viruses by filtration under virus aggregating conditions by which only the viruses can be aggregated and removed through a filtration membrane without affecting properties and yield of an objective protein in a solution comprising the protein and viruses existing therein.

SOLUTION: This method for removing the viruses is to remove the viruses from the solution comprising the protein and the viruses existing therein. The pH of the solution comprising the protein and viruses existing therein is regulated to 4-8 and the viruses in the solution are aggregated by adding an amino acid to the solution and filtered through the filtration membrane.
