<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To converge the reflected light of two kinds of wavelength corresponding to each of different optical disks at almost the same point on an optical detector. <P>SOLUTION: In an optical pickup constituted of two kinds of light sources of a laser chip 101 having wavelength λ<SB>1</SB>and a laser chip 101 having wavelength λ<SB>2</SB>, an outgoing optical system consisting of a collimator lens 2, a half mirror 3, a start mirror 4 and an objective lens 5, a light emitting optical system converging the light on the optical disk 6 and a detecting optical system receiving reflected light from the optical disk 6 by an optical detector 10 through the objective lens 5, the start mirror 4, a half mirror 3 transmitting light from the start mirror 4, a condenser lens 8, and a cylindrical lens 9, each reflected light having two wavelength corresponding to the optical disk 6 is converged on almost the same position of the optical detector 10 by arranging a correction prism 7 in the detecting optical system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
