PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust nozzle for a jet engine in which structural vibration occurring from instability of exhaust-gas flow is prevented from developing at times of start-up, stopping, and change in operation conditions of the engine. SOLUTION: A slotted part for forming a recessed space is provided between the trailing edge of a convergent flap and the leading edge of divergent flap so as to absorb turbulence in the exhaust-gas flow in a throat part.
