PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of banding even when a printing head is inclined. SOLUTION: In a printing device which carries out recording to a surface of a printing medium P with the use of at least one printing head 12 where N dot forming elements are arranged for forming N (N is 2 or larger integer) dots of the same color by a constant pitch along a vertical scanning direction, there are set a first driving means (control circuit 40) which drives the printing head to print the dots on the printing medium so that each dot has an irregular interval in the main scanning direction at a first main scanning; a second driving means (control circuit 40) which prints on the printing medium, remaining dots unprinted by the first main printing at a second-an Mth (M is 2 or larger integer) main scannings; and a repeating means (control circuit 40) which prints desired information on the printing medium by repeating the first-Mth main scannings.
