The portable oven, whose base (1) stands on feet on the dining table, is divided into e.g. 6 sectorial compartments (6) by vertical radial partitions (5). A central well (3) contains a common illuminating source, and the connections between an incoming mains lead and heating elements fixed under a floor plate in each compartment. A domed overall cover is secured centrally. The cylindrical encircling wall (12) incorporates hinged (9), windowed doors (7), giving individual access to each compartment. The vertical edges of all partitions slide in grooves, allowing easy removal.
