PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to check a password entered by the user himself or herself while protecting the user's privacy and preventing other people's unauthorized use. SOLUTION: A CPU 1 displays a password entry screen 52 on a display part 5, and if a display check mode is set according to an operation, displays input information including a character or number entered from software keyboard on a touch panel 4 as it is in each single digit, and after displaying the next digit, changes the display of the input information of the preceding digit to an asterisk.
