The piston is driven by a disc 1 rotating at twice the speed of value 4. A screw pump 8 may be provided at the inlet 26. Edges 29 of valve 4 are angled as shown to provide a guillotine action at points 31, 32, 33 to sever solids cleanly.</p> |
