<p>PURPOSE:To perform sufficient removal of various types of compounds, etc., which are generally called dioxin, and prevent absorption and removal of hydrogen chloride by calcium hydroxide from being inhibited. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas which is generated by the combustion of waste in a combustion furnace 1 is cooled to approx. 200 deg.C by an exhaust heat recovery heat-exchanger 2. In an adsorption tower 4, an activated carbon moving bed 15 is provided, and a fairly large part of organic components such as dioxin, PCB, etc., is removed when the exhaust gas passes through the activated carbon moving bed 15. Then, calcium hydroxide is added to the exhaust gas from a calcium hydroxide feeding tube 31. In a bag filter 5, a filter cloth 16 is provided, and the calcium hydroxide in the exhaust gas is trapped. The trapped calcium hydroxide which is accumulated on the filter cloth 16 absorbes and removes hydrogen chloride in the exhaust gas. The exhaust gas after passing through the bag filter 5 is cooled to approx. 150 deg.C by a cooler 6. In an adsorption tower 7, an activated carbon moving bed 18 is provided, and dioxin with a low melting point which cannot be adsorbed by the adsorption tower 4 is also removed.</p> |
