METHOD FOR PERFORMING THE TDM OF A BROADCASTING SIGNAL AND A COMMUNICATION SIGNAL IN A BROADCASTING COMMUNICATION FUSION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for performing the TDM(Time Division Multiplexing) of a broadcasting signal and a communication signal in a broadcasting communication fusion system is provided to easily generate the broadcasting signal and the communication signal as one TDM signal by converting the format of the communication signal into a stream format and processing the communication with the stream format. CONSTITUTION: A TDM unit(11) receives an MPTS(MPEG(Moving Picture Experts Group)-2 TS(Transport Stream)) from a plurality of broadcasting providers. A media converter(21) receives a 3-level Ethernet signal from a communication provider. The media converter converts the 3-level Ethernet signal into a 2-level signal. A CDR(Clock and Data Recovery) unit(22) extracts a clock of the converted signal. The TDM unit receives the MPTS, the 2-level signal and the clock, and performs TDM.
