PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wooden pile driving head device which safely and efficiently carries out wooden pile driving work without damaging a wooden pile. SOLUTION: The wooden pile driving head device is formed of a hydraulic vibrator 1, and a hydraulic gripping means incorporated in one body with the hydraulic vibrator 1, for gripping an upper end of the wooden pile. The gripping means 2 has a fixed gripping piece 3 formed like a circular arc in a plan, and one or a plurality of movable gripping pieces 4 formed like a circular arc in a plan. Thus the movable gripping pieces 4 and the fixed gripping piece 3 cooperatively function to grip the upper end of the wooden pile. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
