Arrangement for fastening an expansion card in an expansion slot of a computer motherboard comprises a vertical plate element (1) and at least a fastening element. Each fastening element has a first sliding element (21) with a vertical sliding section that is freely fastened to the plate element and which has a horizontal section, a second sliding element (22) for locking or releasing the horizontal section of the first section and an elastomer shock absorbing element. The latter is pressed against vertical and horizontal sections of the first and second slider elements.
