PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply capable of dealing with an input variation by realizing frequency characteristics of open loop transfer function as shown on the drawing. SOLUTION: Control section of the power supply is a circuit realizing such a transfer function as having a format similar to that of a conventional transfer function but having different coefficients, and ensuring only a phase margin without ensuring a gain margin. The transfer function has a part 2000 where the gain decreases significantly and a part 2002 where the phase lags significantly. Furthermore, a power converting circuit for converting the input voltage from an input DC power supply such that the product of voltage and time of the output becomes constant is employed in order to ensure stability against an input variation.
