PURPOSE: A multi-domain liquid crystal display, and a display plate used for the same are provided to improve the visibility and minimize generation of texture or light loss. CONSTITUTION: Gate lines are formed on an insulation substrate. Data lines(171) cross the gate lines, insulated from the gate lines. A first pixel electrode(190a) is formed at every pixel area defined by the gate lines and the data lines crossing each other. A first thin film transistor has three terminals connected to the gate line, the data line, and the first pixel electrode. A second pixel electrode(190b) is formed at every pixel area, and is capacitively combined with the first pixel electrode. A combination electrode(176b) is connected with the first pixel electrode and is overlapped with the second pixel electrode. The second pixel electrode has first domain dividing elements, cut parts(192,193,194) not overlapped with the combination electrode.
